Are you a researcher in the social sciences keen to develop mutually beneficial partnerships with public, policy, or business partners?
The Social Sciences Engagement Fellowships scheme enables social sciences researchers to spend funded time embedded with or visiting non-academic partners (outward), or for practitioners from those organisations to spend time embedded with a team/department at Oxford (inward).
Funding of up to £25,000 is available to support staff time to enable the exchange of learning, ideas, and experiences with partners to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes, impacts and ongoing partnerships.
For public and community engagement and business engagement proposals: we particularly welcome proposals for innovative projects working with
- Public-facing or community organisations, such as community-led initiatives, charities, social enterprises, local authorities, or arts partners, and
- Projects working with business and industry partners, such as private sector organisations, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), social enterprises, industry bodies, or other industrial network organisations
